I get “deja vu” experience quite often. Ive read that this is common in psychotic individuals.
Does anyone have a unique way of dealing with this or an explanation why it happens.
Ive tried not noticing but then it just gets worse.

I’ve had deja vu experiences all my life.
Sometimes, it’s probably been literally the case that we’d been there before, but others, who knows. I do experience it a lot more when I’m…symptomatic. But really it’s been a lifelong thing.
I’ve had odd reactions from others in the past few years when bringing up the subject of deja vu…like either the room goes quiet or someone says “yeah…what is that?”
I get dejavu a lot. My deluded mind is sure I lived this life before, my sane mind just attributes it to synapses in the brain backfiring on us.
I’ve had that experience a couple of times recently, but most of the time it is not pronounced with me.
It hits me a lot… I look at it as a stress trigger…
I usually have to take a moment… walk a bit… or leave this situation for a moment and go do something else… sort of ground myself and let it pass.
I sometimes feel like I’m letting my brain and my mind reconnect… or like I’m getting back in body as a way to fight these feelings.
I have this too. Often I know what will happen and I can’t control it. It makes me scared.
I have had it occasionally. Also

The one thing I have to watch out for…
the Deja Vu will trigger some sneaky brained thinking… I can’t help but think it’s one of my many past lives trying to poke through.
Not healthy thinking I know… but it still happens and I still have to leave the area for a bit.
