Does this ever freak anybody else out? Like when you find yourself in a moment you’ve seen before? How is that even possible?
Its normal happens to me all the time happens to normies too makes me paranoid as hell though
It makes me think that there is a degree of predetermination that goes into the manifestation of reality. Maybe it all isn’t planned out, but some parts are. Like a video game. You have certain events programmed in, but the things in between those events are up to you.
I get deja vu at least once a month. Its a trippy feeling
I used to get Deju Vu growing up.
Not so much anymore tho
I get jamais vu a lot. Its the opposite of deja vu where you think something is different and new when nothing has changed.
This sort of philosophising/pondering will never help you stay grounded in reality
hahaha it seems like reality doesn’t help me stay grounded in reality cause I had a deja vu a couple minutes ago that inspired this thread
Thats because you think its something significant. If you just brush it off and move on from it quick or let it go then it wont affect you much.
Are you intent on staying permanently ill and disabled? Because you seem to engage in the SZ equivalent of playing in traffic a lot.
Does anyone lucid dream?
Maybe it’s related to deja vu
I’ve read that any lucid dreams your having can see the future. The lucid dreams can be performed at anytime when your ready to sleep or nap.
So when your in the lucid dream you’ll star learning clues about the future.
I’m not sure if you can “catch” the deja vu to understand the meaning.
Jung says that the meaning is tied to archetypes playing themselves out in the collective consciousness. That the collective unconscious is manifesting the reality around us
Probably I’ve never been there.
But sometimes I had control in my dream but didn’t really understand it.
blablabla
Dejavu is a memory problem.
The brain is a faulty organ.
Or do you want to hear…
OMG OMG OMG
YOU ARE SO RIGHT
I think mine stems from overactive dreaming
When I sleep, my mind goes a lot of places it can’t IRL, so I think the associations I make when awake relate to this heavily
Can’t be any other way to explain how vivid it is without going into the unusual beliefs category
There’s a few models of what is happening with deja vu. It’s biochemical in nature and I’ve seen some say it’s even mini siezures. It’s a common thing for most people as reported. It’s like sz. It’s nothing special. It’s just misfiring neurons. This isn’t the place to promote your ideas of mind because you still don’t seem to get it. It’s a site for mentally ill people. We aren’t mystics or anything like it. We are suffering a disorder of the brain.
