Dealing with a child who is a Schizophrenic

My son is 23 years old diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 21 spent 10 days in the hospital on diffrent medication he even completed the IOP. Now he is back on the pot and seem to be backsliding. I feel helpless what can I do?

While I’ve never smoked weed before, I’d still like to be of some help for you. I have heard that smoking marijuana can make the person experience many positive things, like euphoria or elation. Have you talked with your son about how or why he smokes marijuana? He may be stuck in a rut emotionally and turns to marijuana to make himself feel happiness.
