Deaf in my right ear

It was a bit funny yesterday morning when I woke up.

Now I woke up and I’m completely deaf in my ear. I tried cleaning it out with cotton buds but it just made it worse.

I don’t have any pain or discomfort.

I shall ring the dr at 8:30am when they open.

Do you think it’s wax @Qwerty ? I use otex ear drops when I have wax

Would say definitely speak to someone. I heard some opticians offer ear stuff

I’m not sure @el_Jimbobbio id it’s wax. I tried cleaning my ears but it made it worse.

Best get it checked out today.

They would not give me a drs appointment. Said to speak with the pharmacist. Can’t get through to pharmacist on the phone.

Can you go to a walk in clinic or something? They can atleast inspect the ear canal and see if it’s a blockage. If so they can clear it. I got paper towel stuck in my ear before because I was using it as earplugs in the hospital and the doctor used a special syringe and water to blast it out. if it’s a blockage they can remove it. If it’s something worse they can atleast inspect it and let you know.

I will ring again tomorrow morning. Hopefully it’s a different receptionist that actually gives me an appointment.

Thanks. It’s a really bad build up of wax. I saw the dr today. I have to buy something over the counter and blast it out my ears haha
