I can feel emotions. Music is emotive and movies hold my attention.
In short I feel alive.
I am already taking 600mg of quetiapine a day. Seriously considering refusing my injection tomorrow. The way I am feeling now is too enticing.

Depixol. An old typical. Really think I am better off without it.

That’s the thing. We agreed I could come off it if I started engaging in the community more. I haven’t done that so far mostly due to the disablement caused by this med. it ruins my cognition.
I feel so much more capable now it is mostly out my system and therefore more able to engage better.
It’s probably just a temporary spike do to withdrawal. Sounds to me like the calm before the storm.
Get that injection tomorrow.

What about trying a lower dose instead of none? With your doctor’s approval of course.

Is not even the upper limit. It’s a pretty typical dose.

I was on 25mg 4 weekly depot injection before I quit. That’s less than 1mg a day. 600 mg a day is huge in comparison. Although paliperidone is supposed to be more potent or something than ie abilify?
You’re comparing two completely different meds. Depot and oral are not dosed the same.

Even on oral, 600mg a day is a lot from paliperidone. The lowest paliperidone oral dose where I live is 3mg a day.

Yes no worries 600mg qutiapine is within normal range. I used to be on 800mg a day. I think that may be the highest dose not sure.

We all have our ups and downs. For me, it rarely is only about how much meds are in my system. More goes in to it than just that.
