Cut down on coffee. Now feel bored ! ☕

I feel much better physically but coffee was obviously masking the boredom of not doing anything.

Perhaps learn a language, or better still if you want to live until 90 get an exercise bike and get fit, lose weight and feel better for it.

Telly is always crap at weekends in my opinion.

There is always photography to do!

How many cups of coffee were you drinking @everhopeful?

Maybe cut down to drinking 2 cups a day?

Coffee and wine are things to look forward to. The effects on your health are negligible.

Maybe get a hobby ? It helps boredom.

I’m cutting down on coffee too. It’s making me jittery and irritable. I guess I’m getting sensitive to it for some reason. I only had one cup today. I may just start drinking tea instead.

I am never bored. I have stuff that occupies me, and I am about to gradually add more and more stuff.

That’s a great advice @Qwerty, and I would more generally advise @everhopeful to find stuff
to do, not necessarily hobbies.

I’m down to 4 cups now. 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Each cup has one spoon of instant coffee in it. And the coffee is weaker coffee than I used to take.

Coffee and cigarettes are one in the same.

Boredom and depression are just the few things that happen when you cut back on caffeine.

You might even start cutting back on the nicotine in the future.

That L Theanine does wonders when no caffeine or nicotine is present ! :hushed:
