Does anybody use a crock pot. It is supposed to be a lot easier. I am not experienced with cooking. But I really like cooking at the same time. I took a cooking class in middle school and I really enjoyed it. Ever since my mom passed away my dad has been using the crock pot. So far he has cocked chicken meals, beef stroganoff, and chili.
I’ve used one a few times. I would use it more if I could get away with peeling potatoes(I’ve used tin potatoes but it’s not the same). Apart from that I would say it’s definitely easier.
I have a slow cooker, but it has been a while since I used one.
It really is a big issue for me, to cook all the time. I am tired of it.
I like the occasional cooking for something special but not everyday.
Now Just purchased 5 days ready made meals for the coming week. We will see if it is good and worth it so from now on we will eat like that.
Slow cookers are really easy. There aren’t a lot of steps like other recipes. You can prep everything the night before, then in the morning toss it all in and your done! I should use it more often really.
Angie is getting the house a large crock pot for Christmas. first thing I’m gonna do is roast a whole chicken in the crock pot. I love roasted chicken.
Never used a crock pot but a slow cooker is really easy. You should have a timer so you can throw everything in at night and it’s ready the next day. For daily meals I feel a slow cooker is too big though.
ribs, *cut), pork roast, i’d guess most anything. beans are good, but you must add water throughout the cook time.
