Logic. You’d create ridiculous stuff without logic.

Hmm now I’m not so sure
I view creativity as a form of logic in itself. I think there is a “remote associations” theory of creativity where people get answers for problems from things that might seem too far removed from them at first. I don’t know how that would account for musical and artistic creativity, though.
