Itâs weird but giving up sugar wasnât so bad. Just did it and it was easier than losing nicotine/weed/alcohol. It really was.
Honestly. We just had halloween out here and dad got some chocolates but no punters so I indulged after 6 months of no sugarâŚgawd. It was like a drug for sure and I ate more than I should and it was grand but next day you can do without pretty quicklyâŚ
Might be different for others but doing the good eating isnât a hard thing these days and especially on our meds which really do add weight.

Cracker and things made with flour turn into pure sugar in your bodies digestive system. And is considered bad sugar. Unlike fruits, they are already sugar and is good in the bodies digestive system. And meats are just protein, but meat fat is usable and bad sugar strands in bodies digestive system.
I donât eat a lot of sweets but I buy these chocolate bars at the Dollarama called Pyramid bars. They come in a five pack for $2.00. I really enjoy them on occasion, they are wafer with hazelnut spread covered in just a bit of chocolate. Not too sweet, just right. I buy two packs and Iâm usually good for a week or two and I never eat them all myself, other people have some too.
Breakfast this morning was a small cup of mango yogurt with no added sugar and some fresh raspberries and blackberries mixed in. Plenty sweet enough.
I used to eat a tonne of cheap chocolates at Christmas. Now we buy a couple of small boxes of handmade, artisan chocolates and slowly savour them. They are much less sweet than the mass-produced candies.
