I was talking to her about testing positive for Herpes, and she told me the clinical director called her and said another employee tested positive for Covid.
So now I need to stay at home again until I am tested for Covid again.

I think we’re all getting Omicron in the next two months. It’s just a question of when and how hard it hits.
Thanks, you’re probably right about that.
I got all the symptoms except loss of taste/smell. Gonna get tested soon.
Ironically I got sick immediately after going in for the vax booster. Not blaming the vaccine, but it’s quite possible I caught it from the nurse, or maybe the guy who was standing right in front of the pharmacy with his freaking dog in the store with like 5 people around ooing and aahing about how cute his dog was. I just wanted him to move out of the damn way lol.
I normally love pooches but he was causing a crowding issue and it went on for such a long time, he was there when I got there and still there when I left 40 minutes later.
I heard omicron doesn’t really affect taste and smell.
Maybe it was dumb of me to expect to go the whole pandemic without getting it, but I’m such a hermit, I really thought I had a good chance.
Both me and my father are feeling a bit better but I still think it’s Covid.
I have some of the same symptoms except for a fever.
If possible, folks should get a covid test if having symptoms. You need a confirmed positive covid test to be eligible for the covid antiviral meds and teatments, should they become necessary.
My company benefits cover COVID related illness, but you need to provide a positive PCR test plus a doctor’s letter in order to submit a claim.

I was talking to my therapist. I left this out of my first post. I haven’t heard anything since creating this topic.
I wasn’t planning on going out for New Year’s Eve, but I wanted to attend services Sunday. My PCP wanted me to book an appointment Monday because of testing positive for Herpes. I had already booked an appointment Tuesday with my cardiologist for my heart problem. Don’t know what I’m going to do now.
I normally self segregate as much as possible at the clubhouse. I know I don’t breath in anyone’s face. I might have COPD, because I breathed some of the smoke from a guy who had it, and I’ve had increasing trouble with my lungs ever since. I stay as far away from other people as I can as a force of habit. It seems like my sugar intake makes my breathing worse. It has a definite effect. My cats might carry viruses of whatever ailment I got. But they never leave my room. A few months ago I had a couple of the symptoms for Covid, and I tested negative for Covid. Then I got the vaccines. I’ve gotten both of the vaccines and a booster. I think they might not have gotten a satisfactory sample specimen when they tested me for Covid, because the girl just barely touched the inside of my nose with her swab. So I’m thinking I either have Covid or COPD. I’m going to wait, and try to get my treatment under the auspices of Tenkiller Behavioral Services. I’m trying to avoid a hefty bill.
Hopefully it’s not Covid, hope you feel better soon! COPD can really knock the wind out of you.
It’s less severe than delta with the vaccines. We’ll be fine.
That’s how I’m feeling. The wave is already subsiding in S. Africa and it didn’t crash the country like we saw previous waves doing.
