I had it and survived. Pretty sure I would survive it again. Don’t really want it again though because it messed up my sense of smell.

Has it come back? The neural damage seems to be permanent for some.
It lessened a bit, but no not gone away fully.
Most perfumes don’t smell as nice now.
But on the plus side, vegetables don’t smell as funky or taste as bitter as they used to. I lost some of my super taster ability.

I heard that Covid is going to be with us indefinitely.
It will never go away, kind of like the flu.
A lot of businesses will be impacted.

No. They’re saying it will go endemic. People build immunity to the flu and they build immunity to COVID. It will just become one of the many many different kinds of flu.
Why do people say this won’t end? Is there even one reliable source that says that?
Yes actually a number of notable doctors in the field.
But I don’t remember their names unfortunately.
Believe me new mutations will crop up.
Difficult to manage.
I want a REAL epidemic, not this flu like illness. I want something like the black plague, oh yeah and wipe 2/3 of population. Dont mind dying myself, it would be a good apocalypse

It still has a death rate which is very low. And with vaccines it is almost nothing. If this keeps on going we’ll just have to go back to normal anyway. And be fine with less than 1% of the population, mostly old and sick people, dying. Probably closer to 0% really with the vaccines.
New, radically more dangerous mutations are still pretty much hypothetical.

Im fullt vaccinated, just really hate all of the society and how it works. There is a lot of injustice created by people, it would be nice if we got served some black plague again that even billionaires couldnt be let sit back and earn even more this flu epidemic

And anyway, black plague can’t make a comeback. It went endemic. Not to mention people who do catch it now are easily cured by antibiotics.

Delta strain is pretty bad and infecting younger people. We have thousands of children infected here.
