Over 952000 people have lost their lives globally due to this coronavirus, over 30 million people are infected. Sad numbers and I think it gets worse.

Here in America we are still having an American football season where tens of thousands of screaming fans pack the stadiums. I hope it doesn’t spread the corona virus, but I am afraid it will. We might have to shut football down for a couple of more seasons if the virus gets out of control.

I have been keeping my journal. Six months ago I wrote that the stock market has fallen by 30%, New Yorkers are told to be inside and the coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly. So what has happened in these six months: the stock market has recovered (due to the massive financial stimulus packages), New Yorkers can be outside again but the coronavirus cases are still increasing rapidly. So some good has happened, but the society has not been able to overcome the coronavirus crisis. Nearly 200000 Americans have died due to the coronavirus crisis. I do not see the situation improving before 2021. I am a pessimist.
