I got my latest blues book in the mail today. It’s cool, fits right in with what I started on, finger picking country Blues. I can’t wait to perform. I thought I was the saddest man alive. Then I ran into you, lol. Are the blues about self pity?

Blues music is about sharing.
The blues made rock and roll. At their primitives it’s about self. Life. Sadness. Horniness…all human emotions and it made rock and roll what it became for sure.
Good luck with your playing. I wish I could learn scales but my brain is stuffed. I’d like to be able to play some blues for sure so more power too you.
