Insomnia sucks. Spent hours just binge watching The Arrow on Netflix, every time I turned it off and tried to sleep I would feel really lonely and my brain just started on a loop remembering stuff from my psychotic break reminded me why “I chose” to be alone.
Freakin lonely illness this one, no one understands. When I try to talk about it, I need to speak it in metaphores or people won’t get it, and even so they still don’t get it.
I’m a bit depressed, it will blow over. Just a little bit.
I slept so poorly last night that tonight I’ll probably just crash, or another night of insomnia, let’s see.
I understand your loneliness. It’s also important that you get some rest and try to sleep. Sz illnesses
can flare up due to lack of sleep. Maybe when you see your pdoc next he might alter your meds slightly. In the meantime, can you put a movie on, volume low, so that you might fall asleep? I
used to have a terrible time with insomnia, too.
Same here, but I took sleeping pill last night.
It is hard these days to find someone who will listen to our troubles that we are facing.

Those lonely times when late at night things start to pull at you and haunt you are very painful. I’ve heard that negative thoughts can disrupt sleep. Shutting off your brain is easier said than done. You have friends here. Maybe we can distract you from your negative thoughts.
Yeah, I have nice things going on, we’re giving a lot of furniture and appliances to charity today, they’re almost ariving now to take the stuff. Thank you

try going for a long walk today before sleep. always helps me.

I understand loneliness, especially at nighttime. Rather than watching videos I’ve found music tends to distract me. Sometimes the flashes of light from computers/tablets can keep me away and if I’m in darkness it’s easier to fall asleep. I like to day-dream before bed while I listen to my music or if I’m truly not able to fall asleep I read.
Minnii, what are you going to do before sleep tonight? Good sleep is important for good moods and good attention span.
i also had insomia the past two nights…imo its the full moon
i had a very similar night last night. i managed to get five hours of sleep though

i was having depressing thoughts that kept me up. like how im a unsuccessful loser compared to people i know. i hope to get a nap in today. hope all is better than last night for you
