Yeah, but the amount lost in such way is actually a water and you’ll get back your weight as soon as you binge after starvation. (

I lost about 30 lbs during my pregnancy w my youngest bc I had gestational diabetes & was forced to watch my food intake. It was a balance of carbs and proteins smaller portions.

Yes. I stopped eating for a long while and later also drinking for days when I was psychotic. I lost a lot of weight very fast, especially when I got dehydrated. When I started eating and drinking again I had huge cravings for sugar, especially sugary drinks, and gained more weight than I lost. :frowning: Not a good way of losing weight.

I’ve had troubles with eating, and it’s not worth the weight loss. I hate how small I’ve gotten… but I didn’t do it by choice so if I were you id be thankful for your weight… there’s a way to lose weight and it’s simply just fewer calories; don’t starve yourself. just eat less of anything you want… doesn’t even matter if it’s junk food honestly, though not recommended, just keep a low steady calorie count every day.

Someone once told me that fasting effects the bodies metabolism in such a way that muscle is broken down before fat. This is an unhealthy way to lose weight. Think balanced diet is the way forward.

If you starve yourself too much you could trigger a binge of eating after you went off your diet. Exercise is very important in losing weight. Try to find some exercise you can do to help you burn calories. A pound of body fat has 3,500 calories. You’re not likely going to be able to sustain a calorie deficit like that before your body slows down your metabolism, making further weight gain much harder. Any weight you lose beyond a pound/1/2 pound a day is likely to be water weight. You can gain or lose surprising amounts of weight by manipulating how much water you have in your system. Losing weight by water loss is bad for your system and is likely to be temporary because you will have an irresistible impulse to drink water if you’re dehydrated.
