Coping strategies

Im looking for advice on how to cope with symptome as i dont want detained in hospital yet again (had enough of that) i use music through headphones or other distraction techniques but im struggling to cope x

But they’re not enough

It’s so important to rationalize when you are delusional or paranoid because the most times things are not as we see them or as we perceive them. So important to have a rational vision of everything.

I am doubting my diagnosis i have autism too just makes things more difficult to process to me the vouces are real because i hear them

Yes i know what you mean the voices are in the headphones too x

If no one apart from you can hear the voices, maybe they are not real.

Does medication work for you?

CBT helped me change how I reacted to the voices. I still have them, but I stopped taking them seriously some time ago. They are occasionally annoying, but mostly amusing now. Also, learning how to manage stress and anxiety reduced the amount of positive symptoms I experience.

My medication is being increased every two weeks so hard to say kust now x does it work for you ? X

My medication works in the context of a holistic approach. Medication alone does not work for me.
