Compulsive Internet pornography use and mental health

Stopping using it has helped me I think. Although it’s always a battle to keep not using it (at least for me)

Same. It definitely helps to abstain from it. I have improved not using it, but still I slip every once in a while. I know it hurts me, so must be some sort of weird self harm. The way it makes me feel I always regret it.

It might sound strange, but I think it’s somehow med related. The few times I have been off zyprexa trying out other anti psychotics like lurasidone and quetiapine it has been much easier to deal with urges.

There is a lot of debate over porn use. I knew one guy who had problems with it. I watch porn, and I don’t think it hurts me, though.

Only watch a few times a day. Not an addiction for me or a problem.

Negative symptoms I suspect make me feel less and less. Occasional porn is a non meds based stimulant that very briefly removes the living dead feeling. Nevertheless I feel f’d up for watching it even though I think I’m not hurting anyone.

Wankers watch porn ( literally )…including myself! I can remember watching it on a VHS that got passed around. Its very graphic and easily accessible on the internet nowadays.
