It can be so easy to do. The feeling of ‘do I come up to scratch?’ What really matters though is trying to be the best we can be.
I am guilty of it. I always compare myself to others and feel like I come up short.
yea this is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo easy to do.
I remind myself that if I am my authentic self comparison doesn’t matter. since I am unique. not a copy of someone else.
having said that I still compare but not in a destructive way anymore, sometimes it provides a bit of motivation ya knoww
I compare myself to others all the time. But now I’ve taken the probably unhealthy attitude that I’m somehow better/happier than they are.
I’m not sure how that happened! Probably some psychological self defense.
So.
Comparing Yourself to Others in a Constructive Way Can Be Very Insightful And Healthy.
(For Example).
You’re an Artist. A Painter. And You Love to Paint!. It Stops You From All of Your Negative Habits. And Keeps You in The Free Clouds. All While You Are Still Grounded Responsible And Positive With Your Daily Activities.
But!, Here Comes Another Painter!. Older, Wiser, And Even Looks Super Cool When They Paint.
What to Do (???)…,
PAINT BETTER!.
MORE BETTER THAN THAT PERSON CAN EVEN DREAM OF (!!!).
Point is, in The End, You Both Will Be Inspired By What Each Individual Brings to The Table. People on The Outside Will Be Inspired. (Maybe Even Pick Up a Brush And Begin Their Own Artistic Adventures).
And No One Gets Hurt.
As One of My Favorite Bands Says, ‘Be Constructive With Your Blues’.
I Have to Remind Even Myself Sometimes… . …
My siblings all own their own houses and have good incomes. It definitely makes me feel less. They all treat me well and help me out when I need it.
