So we got out of lockdown yesterday and we did an outdoor get together with some of my family and some of their friends. Went down to the coast to watch the start of this famous boat race. It goes from Brisbane up the coast to another town and it’s a pretty popular thing.
Thing is that it’s like this boat race and it’s start is just a bunch of boats a mile out going in circles till the official start. Probably one of the most underwhelming things I’ve seen in my life but each to their own. Still. Had some good company and some old fashioned fish and chips.
Not sure I’ll go to that event ever again but I could say I was there for the start.
