Do you have what I call a “comfort album”?
It can be any format (CD, vinyl, cassette etc.) but it’s something you always throw on and listen to when things just get so unbearable.
For me my comfort album is the Carpenters CD, “Gold.” I grew up listening to the Carpenters and they really have a soothing effect on me.

I don’t have a whole album, but loads of playlists for different moods.
If I had to pick a song it would be this one

To fall asleep I listen to Enya. If I’m agitated I listen to concrete blonde or depeche mode full volume. If I feel like crying I listen to journey or Simon and garfunkel or Cat Stevens

I just got Simon & Garfunkel’s first album the other day. It’s pretty awesome. It has the original version of “Sound of Silence” on it.

Thank you! I’m usually not much of a Disturbed fan, but I felt the singer and band did a really good job with this cover.

They did that! I tried listening to their other music and couldn’t get into it.
That cover does show what some of these bands are capable of.
