Clock Goes Forward

In the United States, Daylight Saving Time begins tomorrow (March 12) at 2:00 AM Local Standard Time. At that time we need to turn our clocks forward one hour (2:00 AM becomes 3:00 AM). The exceptions to Daylight Saving Time are the states of Arizona (except for the Navajo, who observe Daylight Saving Time on tribal lands), Hawaii, and the overseas territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

It seems Daylight Saving Time began around the Great War (commonly known as WWI) to save energy from artificial sources. I believe it was repealed in 1973, but put back in place shortly thereafter because of an increase in morning accidents related to school children.

I would like DST year round.
