Monsieur, you are really spoiling us with all these choix.
I don’t make the rules
I already suffer from weight gain and diabetes and I also experience sexual side effects.
Some trade off huh…
The things I’ll do for some sanity.
Hemlock on the rocks.
Another interesting question is would someone with sexual problems take treatment that caused the symptoms of sz as a side effect.
Basically the choice im given in stopping meds to regain sexual ability
Definitely sexual side effects. I don’t need diabetes or movement disorders.
But it would be a sad life. Still
@dividedself It’d be crazy of them not to!
i cant vote there isnt a allabove choice
I’d rather be fat than impotent. But definitely don’t want any EPS.
Olanzapine made me fat and gave me diabetes, so I already made that trade off. But I would choose that trade off anyways given the choices in this poll.
I’m off Olanzapine now and have lost virtually all the weight I gained but I am still stuck at pre-diabetes blood sugar levels. So things have improved significantly but they are not back to normal.
I wouldn’t want sexual dysfunction or EPS side effects, I live in fear of developing Tardive Dyskinesia.
I voted for fat with possible diabetes.
I’m thirty pounds overweight and will get diabetes if I don’t change.
It sucks, and I’m going to try to lose it,
But it’s freaking a lot better than not being able to have an orgasm or EPS.
I can still get laid being a little fat.
Er, same, but the diabetes is no longer theoretical.
Thanks, Zyprexa!
i dont get any action so sexual side effects wouldnt bother me
Thanks everyone for voting and commenting
I have experienced all three as of recently and I am stuck for choosing one of the main drawbacks of AP’s
Putting it bluntly I guess if your not having sex the fact you can’t is a moot point
I care less about sexual side effects.
I haven’t got any of the side effects mentioned above but I’ve got cognitive dulling and negative symptoms caused by the large amount meds I take each day. But in the past I have had sexual dysfunction caused by 300 mg clopixol each week. For 15 years I couldn’t perform. Now I’m down to 500 mg Clopixol every 3 week. And in 1996 I gained 40 pounds while on clozapine for half a year.
My current meds regime is
500 mg clopixol every 3 weeks
160 Geodon by mouth
500 mg seroquel IR by mouth
Quite a long time it was additional food
I checked now and it’s lack of sex at middle age not so bad, weight coming down
And in the future it will surely be movement disorder
Alllll 3 please
This is the oddest poll.
yeah. why’d you bring it back?
