I just went over my blood test from last year. My cholesterol was higher than I remember it being. My doctor didn’t want to put me on meds though. I was 29 at the time, i’m now 30. I have a virtual doctors appointment tomorrow at 1 pm. I might ask for another blood test to check my levels. I’m thinking of also telling her I want my Olanzapine to be at 5 mg from now on. My appetite will be more under control at 5 mg, my cholesterol should lower, and I sleep better on 5 mg.
Does anyone have high cholesterol? What age does it start to cause heart issues?
I think most docs don’t prescribe statins until people get into their late 30s early 40s. I’ve had high cholestrol for most of my life and I made it to 40 lol. I did get on a statin a year or so ago and it cut my LDL and triglycerides by over a 1/3 and rasied my HDL to almost normal. It should be even better next time I get tested since I dropped 20 pounds and my diet is better.
I just woke up after 30 minutes of sleep & my heart was racing. I nearly ran to get my Ativan in the next room and almost called 911. Ive been having stabbing chest pain before I slept for 30 minutes. I know I have an anxiety disorder but these physical symptoms make me worry about heart related issues.
Damn sorry to hear that bro. I’m having heart pains today as well. I think for me it comes down to hydration. I drink a lot of caffeine and I think it makes me dehydrated and then come the heart pains.
