I’m making chicken lettuce wraps with romaine hearts and served with brown rice tonight. What are you having?
Corn flakes and milk. The mini mart has had no raisin bran so I have settled for corn flakes.
I haven’t had corn flakes in a long time. I do like Raisin Bran but never eat cold cereal. But if I were to buy cereal that’s one I might go for.
Salad. Romaine was on sale for $3 a 3 pack. Chicken tenders cut over each bowl.
Wow! Great deal! I got a large bag of spinach for salads this week for $3, and my romaine hearts were $3. I didn’t do as good as you lol!
I’m just having macaroni and cheese
Bottled Tika Masala sauce from target over some cauliflower rice.
Do you have a SavALot in your area? When I’m super broke that is where I go.
No. I eat impossible meat and Daring chicken which are both imitation.
I eat a super low almost zero carb diet to keep from going pre-diabetic.
I love cauliflower. Its a good starch substitute.
@Kxev have you ever made seitan? It’s pretty easy to make. You just need flour and water. It shreds like chicken, you can season it.
I have had them from restaurants. But have not dared try preparing them at home because they don’t come pre-flavored.
I need to learn seasoning techniques.
I want so bad to learn how to make vegetarian KFC somehow. Even though it is carb.
I just checked. There aren’t any in Northern Michigan. I used to go there when I lived in Detroit. Thanks for the suggestion though
No clue what I’ll eat. My braces are cutting me, so mushy or liquid is ideal.
Aw, man. Sorry.
Any Super Walmarts? That’s where I get most of my regular groceries. Their clearance item groceries are really good prices.
Especially baked goods
Yes. I’ll have to check them out for better deals. I used to avoid them because their produce was always rotten so I didn’t trust their food. But I could always try again and see. Maybe they’ve improved. It’s been several years since I bought food from there. It’s worth looking into at any rate
Ours is pretty good. The one in Buffalo sucked. It really depends on the area
I had very similar meal. Romaine (Cos) lettuce chicken wrap with jalapenos coleslaw hot sauce and korean mayo.
