Change Agents

I REALLY don’t like how I feel. It seems like a cigarette would change how I feel for a moment at least, and maybe that’s all I need. But the price is so very steep.

I’m a puff away from four packs a day,

Thank God I don’t have any smokes here . . .

PS My downstairs neighbors cry and scream. It is of interest to me!

I found that when I quit smoking, the most useful change agent was not having any cigarettes anywhere “on the premises.” And that my wife was often gone with our car so I had no hope of going to the store for any. It helped me take my mind off the battle.

@Twang, congratulations on quitting. Very cool.

My last cigarette was 4 days ago. I’ve been tapering down to the last one.

I miss it… I was almost going to write an ode to how much I loved smoking.

But I’m working on doing anything other then walking down to the corner market.

Doing anything helps.

Hang tough! Do you have any candies in the house?

I’m glad I never started smoking. Well, I smoked in sixth grade because my friends were doing it, but when I stopped hanging around that crowd I stopped smoking. I never liked it anyway.
