Was gonna say substance abuse as well. I’m fortunate that I’m resilient enough that losing work and even a home hasn’t put me in a psych ward or caused me to breakdown. Substance abuse… Ooof.

Were you on any substance abuse earlier in your life?

I heavily abused alcohol, amphetamines, and cannabis. Been clean and sober for 29 years. Managed to become mildly addicted to Vicodin a couple of years back as I have chronic pain from a spinal injury and the doctors were a little too helpful with open-ended scrips. The withdrawal from that sucked, too.

Too much liking to work

I tend to have breakdowns from emotional or sensory overload.
They start with feeling stressed, then very angry or sad, then very numb, tired and unable to speak.
