Seems like I’m always at the doctor for something these days. Tomorrow (Thursday) it’s cataract surgery.
Frankly, as nice as it would be to see out of my right eye, the whole thing is overshadowed by positive cologuard test. I wish I was having colonoscopy tomorrow instead of cataract surgery. I would like that question resolved first.
My right eye has much brighter vision than the left now. I can see the tv at a 10 foot or so distance without glasses. It looks like it will be better for driving. The “fog” in right eye is gone.
THe bad:
My up close up vision in my right eye is blurry as hell from super close up out to about 3 feet. I only got the implant that helps with distance vision not the super expensive one that is supposed to help close up as well. It’s so bad that I almost have to close my right eye for anything below a few feet (like my pc) as it makes my total vision with both eyes significant worse up close.
My eye is still very dialated and I just had surgery though, so maybe this will improve over time. I am also seeing halos around light with my right eye. Or maybe a new glasses prescription will help.
Overall, I’m not sure what to think of it yet. It may be a few weeks before Im sure what of if I think it was worth it. Distance and brightness better. Close up worse(but without the fog)
