I think that’s a great idea. I’ve always microchipped my pets. Well, not my guinea pigs, but any dogs or cats I’ve owned.
Guinea pigs are the best haha
Very interesting article. I must admit I was biased against it until I read the full article.
They want to do this to the homeless too
Next it will be us
Very sad world
There are still too many links to chipping and cancer that need more research. I don’t want to make kitty sick and she never leaves the house anyhow. Goverment can go feck itself.
My dogs are chipped. My cats don’t leave the house. No need for it.
I understand dogs being chipped, they’re in/out more likely to have a need to be scanned. But I have never had an outdoor cat in my life. I have never chipped a cat. My Grama’s 2 cats she had were chipped cause it was a license, chip, desexing, shots thing. But that was years before we moved in. And hers never once went outside.
We have no pets now, but our city wants 35 bucks per cat for a license, we don’t own the strays and don’t feed them, but allow them shelter in R2D2 in the garage. Told them to trap them if they want them. I am not being hit with licenses for over 18 strays on my block.
