my pdoc just put me on 300 mg at night of this does this work?

Maybe. Maybe not. Might work for some and not others. I hope it works for you, though.

I was on Carbamazepine/Tegretol for decades.
300mg is really a starter dose Iām sure that your doctor will eventually raise it.
Carbamazepine is a good med but it interacts with lots of other meds - rendering other meds less effective usually.
Carbamazepine was a pretty effective Anticonvulsant.
