Can't seem to lose weight beyond a certain point

I tried everything. Walking two hours a day. Trying to increase metabolism with dietary intake. One hour of walking and 45 minutes of crunches and stuff. But, I just can’t seem to shake that last bit of weight, precisely, a few pounds of belly fat.

Is it the Abilify or the Haldol or both?

Welcome to these antipsychotics are making me fat club.
Not much you can do other than keep on consuming fewer calories and going low carb.
Exercise should help some too.

It ain’t easy but don’t give up!

antipsychotics made me gain weight and I have lost quite a bit. I can’t get rid of the last part. I have fought weight gain by changing medications since the last 5 years and currently I am on what is seemingly a weight-neutral combination (and symptom free apart from cognitive symptoms). However much I try I cannot get below a certain threshold though.

I’d say give it lots of time, like decades and you’ll lose weight.

If it’s only a few pounds, it’s probably nothing to do with meds.

You could be in much worse shape than you describe. Some of the meds side effects get you no matter what you try. You’ll see what I mean when you get older. In the meantime concentrate more on dealing with the voices than trying to maintain your much more temporary youth.
