I think it is, even a long post on here I can’t stay focused, as for books I would have to read it ten times to get everything out of it

I have schizophrenia and my cognitive functioning is very bad.
In addition I feel listless, despite exercising very very hard.
Wait for sometime effective med will come like min101…be optimistic… Take care…!!!

I don’t have the concentration to read. I have an app on my phone that reads things aloud for me.
I certainly can’t read a book. I can’t even read long posts here.

Comprehension is difficult I find
I can’t read long posts on here or long articles. I get almost a panicked feeling and have to stop.
I just finished reading a book that took me a little over a week to read. It was a book written for teenagers, so it was an easy read. I was still proud of myself for finishing it.
I used to read very complicated religious books and stories. My ability to focus has diminished as I’ve gotten older.
