Romaine lettuce and English cucumbers are declared unsafe due to salmonella outbreak. Ì don’t like romaine lettuce but I love cucumbers. Hope this gets under control. The romaine has been going on for months but the cucumber has only happened since last week.
Never heard about the cucumbers till now

I’m hoping the cucumber is short lived. Soon I’ll be able to eat normal food and i so want Greek salad again.

Damn. Food poisoning isn’t any fun and that is rather scary!
Hope you have some fresh and good produce through soon! I worry a lot of our produce is imported. Not sure where it comes from and that is a worry!

People are of course joking around that we were told junk food is bad for us and really it’s all those damn veggies.
I definitely don’t agree since I’m trying to go vegetarian. It’s kind of funny though.

Still. No fun if your in the food chain so to speak! You can’t live on meat alone! Gawd. I’d imagine that would be rather unhealthy in the long term???

I’m really trying to avoid meat but I’m not always successful. But yeah the studies on meat are not great.

You have to be careful. A friend of my stepdad went to a Chinese restaurant and got a food bug. It ate away at his organs and he ended up needing heart surgery. He was also off work for months.
He now has a limiting life, and he wasn’t able to prove it came from that place.

That is so sad and scary
I know. It shows how easy it is for this to happen to anybody. I think that’s why the authorities get so paranoid about this kind of thing as it really can damage peoples lives.
