Can we drink mineral water instead of water?

As far as i know europeans drink mineral water instead of water. İs there any positive outcome to drink mineral water instead of water? What is your opinion about?

Mineral water doesnt have flouride which is good for your teeth. It has some more essential minerals in it but not much to make a difference.

My doctor told me that coffee tea and soda doesnt count as fluid(i don t know the right word for. İt s like doesn t count as instead of water) does it also right for mineral water?
