The regulars who act like they own the place are really disrespectful. I know I am no saint but the language they use outside is terrible. A young family lives opposite and they must get intimidated.

Sounds horrible. Not a fan of people who spend too much time in a bar. I know it’s pretty common even here but nothing much good comes of lots of drunk people.
I saw you said they were closing it down to refurbish? Enjoy the time off matey.

It used to be the same here. We were called the ibiza of the UK and got stag dos and people coming on holidays to get drunk and go clubbing. The police changed all that now. Were more of a family friendly resort. Good times though.

Yeah I read it is illegal to beep your horn willy nilly. Is only permitted to stop crashes. Not for use by taxi drivers

Yeah funnily enough Bognor Regis got voted one of the worst holiday destinations in a poll done shown by the local website. I had to laugh. If it wernt for Butlins here - the place would be even worse. Saturday night is a nightmare during the summer - and the drugs floating around the town is terrible.
Quite often when your in a bar here - you will get a smackhead come in a offer you a bag of nicked cheese or meat for 20 quid or washing powder. And people buy it!
For all its faults here tho - i like the place and its diverse polish population.

I can remember when I was 18, if you went down to a beach between 12pm and 6 am there would be a thousand people there all off there heads talking to each other and having camp fires. It was actually the best thing. We don’t get nothing like that anymore though.

That sounds bloody awesome. Never would get that here - the police would move you on. Bognors touted as a great holiday destination - but in reality its just a tired outdated place, with drugs and homeless problems like most seaside towns along the south coast and full of alcoholics.

Yeah the thing was there was so many of us the police could not really do anything about it. You just hide your drinks when they walk past and then go get them again.
