Can Some of You Talk To Me?

I’m diagnosed with ‘delusions of reference’ and ‘delusions of persecution’

Half of me feels I’ve just disappointed the whole World, while the other half believes I’m an insignificant nobody.

Can you all reassure me that it’s the latter? That I’m a nobody, and no one wants to kill me?

Delusions of reference make it all personal. You aren’t that important even though your brain is telling you so. It’s common and it’s a positive symptom. Take the meds…it should improve things a lot better!

I’ve walked a similar path but no-one is out to get you!

You’re a nobody to most of the world with the exception of your family and friends who love you. No one is trying to harm you.

@PatrickT I do hope you find help from E. R. soon…you need to be admitted in the hospital for a little while and get your meds on track.

you are one of us, we all in the same boat, some do better than others and its not a competition,

also that other thing is probably just paranoia and stuff, i’ve had it and its not nice, my mind is calmed by drugs (meds)

thats why this illness is so frigging complicated, you get symptoms that are different for everyone, everyone reacts differently to meds and side effects, most gets break through symptoms, life is so frigging complicated :confused:

@jukebox,

My brother took me to Emergency yesterday. I was given sleep meds and the week off work again.

Thanks for your support. We’ve had some issues in the past, but when one of us is struggling, we’re both there for each other. I appreciate that.

sure thing bro… @PatrickT I must admit I’m pretty frustrated that you got so sick before you sought help…I hope you continue taking your meds and sleeping better.
