Can Social Security (SSI) listen in to my phone calls?

When a sibling or a parent calls me, does Social Security listen in to the conversations?
I barely got approved for SSI, but I have a weird feeling that they are listening in to my conversations for evidence to cancel my SSI.

They haven’t the manpower to listen in on your conversation.
They are the most fair business that Truly help folks, if you deserved your money they give it to you.

I think that you are just being paranoid.
Social Security has no eavesdropping capabilities, that’s outside of their realm of activity.
The FBI can do it, but you are not Obama and I doubt that they are eavesdropping on you.

Nope. Don’t worry. If the SSI had to do that, they would have to employ so many people, they wouldn’t have any money left to pay benefits. Not to mention it would be illegal for them to do so.
