Can my therapist hospitalize me if

Ill just list my symptoms.
Hallucinating more and more.
Bad gender dysphoria.
Mood swings.
Paranoia, cant leave the house much if at all idk. Well see tomorrow i guess. I havent left the house in days.
Cant take care of myself. Cant get dressed without doing rituals and everytime i try to cook i break down crying over the sensory input or how many steps are involved. Havent eaten much in 3 days just one part of a smoothie.
All i do is sit and stare at my phone.
Thinking my professor put a chip in my cheek

If you’re in the U.K. then a therapist (unless they’re qualified psychiatrist too) can’t hospitalise you.

Usually the paperwork requires drs to sign it as assessed unfit for reality

The not eating they could make a point to hospitalized saying you’re endangering yourself even if you’re not

Also the professor thing the might stretch out to say that the distress form this delusion might make you a danger to yourself or others

Im in the US, i cant risk going to the hospital

They lie all the time but not much we can do. It sounds like you could use some help at the moment tho… I’d try med if you’re not already in them they sounds like severe symptoms at the moment. Gotta be humble and accept help when we need it. We all do

Do you have a way to get meds? You need something to help you relax and get some sleep

It’s best to be honest with your psychiatrist. The sooner you get help, the more improved your odds of a recovery.

Oh true. Maybe consider an alteration? How’s your sleep at the moment?

I sleep either all day or hardly any at all

True I haven’t been sleeping much lately either. Hope it doesn’t result in a relapse

Honestly maybe it’s best to let your psychiatrist know but without spilling all the beans lol. Tell them but not with words. Just make it known to them you want to alter your meds without telling them everything cause sometimes they feel obliged professionally to hospitalize even if deep down they know you’re doing relatively well.

Just be smart about it and prudent in what you say and you can get help without being hospitalized
