I know it’s a minor tranquilizer but it seems to give me a lil boost…

In the beginning of taking a benzo, sometimes there is a bit of anxiety believe it or not, then when it kicks in the anxious feeling goes away and the anxiolytic effect takes place.
If Klonopin is giving you more energy and not calming you down at all, then you are having a paradoxical reaction - sometimes Benzos can make you feel more stimulated - Not normal.
If it continues I would talk to your doctor about it.
Maybe he or she can prescribe you a different benzo.
Ativan is another good benzo.

It’s kind of a conundrum
I’ve been on klonopin 1.0 for 2.5 years it’s been good to me. I just notice it wakes me up a little, but certainly not an adverse reaction. Thanks @Wave

I take Klonopin and rely on it a lot.

Could be it relaxes some of your inhibitions, which your brain works so hard to maintain.
