I deliberately made it so that I will have no money for cigarettes, alcohol or weed…I have cigs for tomorrow and then it’s straight edge for at least a week before I get paid again. I haven’t drank in long time but I bought some weed yesterday…I am attempting to stay clean at least a month…30 days…no, I’m not going to go to a 12 step program…but I am really ready this time…(giant shudder deep in my soul) I hope I can do it. Any words of advice for such a feat?
Get sober and learn to enjoy it? Thats what I had to do. I still smoke tobacco though. That is whats next for me as soon as I start working again.

Yes, Bryan, we have Netflix lately and I have really been excited that I am into movies again. Trying to focus on positivity…I read a sign in group that said. “if you focus on negativity you will fail. If you focus on positivity you will succeed!”
Maybe this will motivate you. Just think what you’re doing to your health by smoking weed. I’ve read studies that show smoking pot is as bad for your health as smoking cigarettes.
The biggest thing about not smoking marijuana is that keeping away from it I believe actually will stabilize me more…I’m on edge and nervous, and I think that’s the weed talking…I want peace. No smoke, no cigs, and no alcohol…I am excited.
Get some nicorette gum or the patch. Quitting cold turkey gives you a two week headache!
Also quitting weed will not give you a headache or anything at all if you quit cold turkey. I had a serious problem with it and quit cold turkey. I felt really good after. I also find I am more functional now. I am doing a lot better. I have stayed quit for several years now and am permanently done with it. I just quit cigarettes about two months ago.

You can do it. The problem I had is I considered it spoiling myself. Find other ways to spoil yourself that are healthy. Make yourself a moccachino with whipped cream, find a comfy chair, play some music, buy a soft blanket and get a good book. You will feel so pampered. Also a massage cushion and one of those foot things with the bubbles are awesome. Burn some incense.

It’s already gone @SzAdmin…there will be times that I probably will break down because my family comes over and brings it and I really miss my family so I still will do it when they come over…my control over it is that I won’t ever buy it again for my own use. That is huge enough…?
Tell your family your plan too and ask them not to bring it over, whatever they do.
I can’t…I help my cousins get it and I am the only connect they have otherwise they can’t ever do it at all…the connect I have lives south of me and my cousins come from a city north of me…I can’t let them down I will just do my best not to get some from them when they pick theirs up…how’s that?

Don’t know your story but weed is toxic for schizophrenics! Might help you out with depression but psychotic illness means it’s a no brainer!
Hey. I drink most days but I’m at a point where it’s time to get fit! Drinking isn’t a problem till it becomes a problem and I think you appreciate that!
Give up the dope. Give up the drink. Cigarettes…I couldn’t do till I got champix and it was so frigging easy it was scary!
