Ducy just get an antidepressant to boost your energy and mood and just go get your LAI. I’m on 500 mgs of Clopixol depot every 3 week.

Im on Clopixol again, it does numb the fuk out of you so im trying antidepressant

I can really relate to your experience about getting numb on Clopixol. I’ll just say if I wasn’t on the mood stabilizer / antipsychotic qutiapine then I would go quite dull through the world.

Why not try atypicals? I read they numb less.

It’s not possible to replace my LAI with any atypical drug because none of theme are nearly as potent as the Clopixol.
If it ain’t broken then why try to fix it.

Yes and sometimes i think its good that im emotionally flattened because i can’t deal with emotions

Ducky I simulate feelings aswell. I find it impossible to cry when a family member or close friend dies.
I don’t have enough feelings to fall in love with a lady.
But I still have a laught and a half behind my smile.

Im exactly the same, i cannot cry or feel much emotions but i prefer that
Im on 400mg every 4 weekly
But don’t worry @Ghosts we will be okay
At least the side effects with clopixol are not as bad as with some other antipsychotics

This topic is basically me having a wobble about meds
Just ignore me im not always like this
I come to the right decision in the end to take meds

@anon29983254 I’m happy you came to the important decision to stay on your medication. 
I also take an antidepressant. I hope that your dr can help you with that and that you feel better when you start it. I know mine helps me so much. I also take a mood medication in addition to the antidepressant (lamotrigine).

Same here!
I still had full symptoms whilst taking them, but had added problems like weight gain, increased chances of obtaining diabetes, slowness of movement and of thinking.
Also whilst on Abilify I had insomnia, so am detoxing from it now, even if just to have 8 hours sleep again.
It’s very important to stay on medication.

without meds life can become total mess. And we can do certain strange things during those times. Wish you the best
