I hope for the absolute best case scenario for you. I think if I were a doctor I would not give worst case scenario unless the patient asked, I would give the most common outcome.
They have a lot of good treatments for breast cancer nowadays that they didn’t used to have, so, I would have a lot of hope if I were you. Even stage 4 breast cancer can be successfully treated now. I will be thinking of you. And please, keep us posted.
You are right @Anon10, I’m trying to get as much information as I can before the consult this coming week with the surgeon. Its all so confusing, and I’m probably in denial.
Thanks @Andrey, I’ll be needing to lean on this forum for support as I only have my SO. I haven’t told my parents yet, as I want the full picture to tell them. But they are not particularly supportive or helpful. I guess they mean well.
@LilyoftheValley (I just got your name piano-gal, lol, I thought it was an Italian name). I’m trying not to jump onto any wild ideas I get from the internet about treatment, better to wait and see what the surgeon and oncologist have to say 1st and 2nd opinions.
@Moonbeam definitely will be writing a list. I also kind of have a list of demands in my mind too, lol. I want the least invasive possible, need to work with pdoc for meds, conserve eggs and keep my uterus. Its a lot to ask at this point not knowing much.
Awe man I hadn’t even thought of losing my hair! Eek! I just got it cut too, it was past my bellybutton. Now its about boob length. I suppose it won’t be to bad to have short hair for my wedding in September. I’ve never had short hair.
