I found this one, and it’s short, but It sort of struck a chord with me.
I’ve found what helped me (I had a delusion that was causing me shame. I thought I had done something bad) was to talk about it. When I opened up to a therapist and told her what was going on in my mind she helped me break the delusion and wash away the shame that went with it.
Good article. Shame, avoidance and self-destructive behaviors (I know all about that!)
And guilt (but I suppose that’s a positive thing?)
