It wasnt about religion it was because of the kids 
To be honest, thatās the parentās job to monitor and restrict what the kids watch before that law was even put into place. P*** sites already asked if you were over the age of 18 before they put that restriction on my state.

Also I doubt itās actually made to protect their privacy. They gave it that reasoning officially so it would be impossible to oppose. In reality they just might not approve of anyone of any age watching porn and they want it to stop.
I hate this topic, but i think that the governments and big corps just use the protecting kids as an excuse for control and to limit free speech. Think of how all the mainstream media went all nuts against the movie called āthe sound of freedomā. Even though theres likely a lot of dramatisation and added parts, the goal of the movie was great.
So most of them donāt really give a s**t about youth.

I keep waiting for it to shut down, after its advertisers leave. Itās amazing to me that it still exists. Iāll admit I never personally engaged with it but I have needed to follow it before seeing as how so many game companies use it to keep people aware of promotions and events.
I think there needs to be a good alternative for some people to leave. I was hoping Threads would be a little more successful.
