My life is boring but I am not successful. I won’t win any mother of the year awards- one of my kids blames me for the times that she wanted to commit suicide. I can’t cook like Paula Dean. I am not crafty like Martha Stewart. I am not a CEO, an actress, or a professional anything. I can’t do 90% of what I used to do. No, a boring life does not necessarily mean success, no matter how you measure success.

I will politely disagree.
Low income individuals are frequently bored. They would like to do something more than sit at home, but do not have the funds.
They also do not consider themselves successful, even if they are happy as can be exspected in that situation.
