Got there early and was done within minutes. Went and had a big breakfast afterwards.
It was a bit cold wearing the bodywarmer but not unbearable.
I’ll go do that in a few days also, looking forward to know my prolactin levels
Good luck.
@Minnii it costs extra money if you want to get your prolactin tested. When i was still taking Xeplion i also did a blood test + prolactin test. The results were normal and i couldnt believe them for that.
Yeah, for me it’s free
Prolactin was one of the things to be tested for. I have had several blood test forms given before but didn’t make an appointment. The issue over taking off a coat was solved by getting a bodywarmer(my dad and step mum bought me one) .
Why is it free for you?
National Health Service
Yeah, they cover the costs only for things which are necessarey to be know. such as blood sugar, as a risk of diabetes. for things like prolactin and a huge list of other things and hormones you need to pay from your own poket. they actually give you a list what you want to get tested and its pretty huge list with 50+ boxes to check. perhaps its different where you live though.
Glad that things went well for you @firemonkey.
My last blood test went smoothly, usually it takes a while before they draw blood.
I go for another blood test in April - to check on my Hormone levels.
If my blood test results are like previous times it will show blood sugar a little below pre diabetic levels, cholesterol moderately high and prolactin raised somewhat.
According to my nurse practitioner my results previously were good in spite of those things.
I had blood work done last month. I’ll see the results on my next visit.
It was a fun trip. I got to eat at an Indian food buffet.
