The tellers at my bank were treating me with blatant hatred and open contempt. That’s a helluva’ way to run a business.

You’re seeing too much into things. All customer facing bank employees are like that.

Maybe the tellers are hostile. Maybe something you said or did caused them to act that way. But most likely, you are misjudging the situation.
