Biological changes could underlie higher psychosis risk in immigrants

Immigrants had higher levels of the brain chemical dopamine than non-immigrants in the study, conducted by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London in the U.K. Abnormal dopamine levels are linked to symptoms of schizophrenia. I used to get stressed and angry frequently but a few years ago I spent 16 consecutive weeks doing 20 minutes deep breathing daily. It worked a charm and have had very little anger since then, hardly any at all.

I think the study is flawed. All it proves is that you have to be crazy to move to Canada :grin:
