Not me, but my 16 year old son. He has a rather large birthmark that has decide to start changing color to black and get all ugly and thick and bumpy looking. They are going to scrap all the extra layers off and run biopsies on all of it. We’ve had small biopsies in the past and they came out fine, but it worries me now because it has turned black. If there is any bad cells he would have to have major surgery to completely remove it. It is so large it would require skin grafts and a Plastic Surgeon. Please send love and hugs our way for a safe surgery today. I’m so anxious for him.

The surgery went well, he just had a little trouble coming out of anesthesia, but he’s resting comfortably now. We’ll just have to wait 2 weeks to get the biopsy results. My heart tells me we’re catching it in time. Hugs back to all of you for taking your time to wish us well. I’m sending lots of love your way.

Waiting for results really sucks. One thing I’ve learned though, is that bad news comes quickly. If it takes a while for them to get you the results, it usually means everything is fine.
