Best time of day to take meds??

if you have preference ?

I used to take them in the morning but doctor changed them to evening. It’s a little different to not have the help right when I wake up.

Well for some side effects. Latuda caused akathisia and nausea but not when I took it at night. Side effects are less severe when you’re sleeping.

Some meds cause insomnia and need to be taken in the morning though.

anygood time of day to take long acting injection
for example
haloperidol decanoate…

I don’t know, I am on pills. I take 4mg Risperdal before sleeping at night, no issues or side effects.

Ask your doctor. Every med is different and effects are different. Some of my meds are morning due to stimulation effects, some noon, some before bed. Etc

I take my meds like clockwork at 08:00 and 20:00. Some are prescribed for mornings and some to take at night.

I have to spread my meds out over the course of the day to help minimize side effects. I used to take it all at night but I was getting terrible restless legs.

Depends on the med, for most antipsychotics it is better to take them at night because they make you tired and you are asleep while your body absorb them.

I take them at morning, noon, evening

I take mine at night. But I don’t think it would make a difference if I took them in the morning. Except the qutiapine as that’s for sleep.

Do you feel like they help all day taking them at night? My doctor has me on 2mg in the morning and then 2mg at night. I would really like to take them all at night though.

Yes they help, I have no positive symptoms.
