Driving people for a company from the air port to the motel and back. with a limousine a the age of 14, in tucson arizona back in the 70"s. at night i worked a IBM computer down loading goverment blue prints for military parts for the some company they built conbat gear and fracking explosive casings.
Chef. Love the pace, but I can’t have that many hours away from home. Eventually I stop sleeping and eating enough and it all gets a bit crazy.
Helicopter pilot or airplane pilot. All in the Marine Corps. Wish I could still do that. I haven’t flown for a living since 2008. Been on the ground a while. I still fly occasionally but I have to pay for it.
My favorite job was working for a community college as a lab tech. It was a great job. I was also tutoring. As a lab tech I graded papers and set up labs for geology.
I once worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant. It was actually strangely therapeutic.
I didn’t even mind working lots of hours at one point because the money was adding up
